This photoset is from the Black River WMA. I went there with my GPS loaded with topographic maps in search of Galearis spectabilis, and I found oodles of them in bloom; some of them even had particularly vivid color. In some areas, the plants were so locally common that it was difficult to avoid stepping on some of them. In my book, that's a good problem to have.
