These pictures are from hikes in natural areas in Sussex and Morris County, NJ.  This was a spectacular seven orchid day, with vegetative Cypripedium acaule, Galearis spectabilis setting seed, and flowering Epipactis helleborine, Goodyera pubescens, Gymnadeniopsis clavellata. and two mixed populations of Platanthera lacera and Platanthera psycodes.  What a day!
