Showy orchis (Galearis spectabilis) at the Saalman Hollow nature preserve.  This is the second orchid that I have ever encountered in the wild, but unfortunately I snapped only this embarrassingly bad photograph because we were losing daylight some distance into a nature preserve with no trails.
