This photoset is from a spectacular hike in natural areas in Sussex County. I saw vegetative Goodyera pubescens, and Cypripedium acaule, a spectacular mixed population of Cypripedium parviflorum var. pubescens and Cypripedium parviflorum var. parviflorum, and Corallorhiza trifida in full flower. The latter two are the thirty-sixth and thirty-seventh orchids I've found in New Jersey. I also found the very rare Tiarella cordifolia var. cordifolia and Streptopus lanceolatus.
