This photoset is from a hike through several natural areas in Sussex County, NJ. This trip was my first out with a brand new Canon 5D mk IV, and I was dogged with light rain and heavy mosquitoes. Nonetheless, I saw the very rare Claytonia virginica var. hammondiae, an amazing population of Platanthera grandiflora, and a large vegetative colony of Isotria verticillata, making for one of the best trips of the season.
