This photoset is from the White Lake WMA.  I visited this place in search of the uncommon variety of the yellow lady's slipper, Cypripedium parviflorum var. makasin, but I was unable to find it even after some very difficult hiking.  There were, however, a few scattered plants of Galearis spectabilis in bloom.
