This photoset is from a hike at the Wildcat Ridge Wildlife Managment Area. This is a fantastic place for a hike; the scenery is very nice and the only place that people seem to frequent is the hawkwatch. I managed to find a couple populations of Corallorhiza odontorhiza var. odontorhiza, the autumn coralroot, which is the 24th species of orchids I've seen in New Jersey. To top it off, there were Spiranthes cernua [Edit: Spiranthes ochroleuca] flowering, and two other species of orchid out of season.
