This photo set is from the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge Wilderness Area, less than ten miles from where I live.  I was quite impressed with the place; for being a place with mostly straight trails over flat terrain it was very interesting.  Of course, I'm a little biased, thanks to the two Spiranthes orchid species sprinkled all along the trail.
