This photoset is from the Purdon Conservation Area.  This nature preserve is famed for its massive colony of Cypripedium reginae, though I was a little late to catch them and only a few of the thousands of plants were still in bloom.  I also found early flowering Platanthera aquilonis and Epipactis helleborine in bud.
