These pictures are from Pyramid Mountain Natural Historic Area.  We saw vegetative Goodyera pubescens and Cypripedium acaule, dried seed heads of Spiranthes cernua, a single flowering Gymnadeniopsis clavellata, and two individuals of Platanthera flava var. herbiola , which is the twenty-seventh species of orchid I've found in New Jersey.
