This photoset is from what is likely the most productive orchid hike I've ever had, through natural areas in Sussex County.  I caught Listera cordata, Cypripedium acaule, C. parviflorum var. parviflorum, C. parviflorum var. pubescens, Corallorhiza trifida, Isotria verticillata, and Galearis spectabilis in bloom.  There was also vegetative Goodyera pubescens, Gymnadeniopsis clavellata, Listera smallii, and an unidentified Platanthera!  Eleven orchids in one day!  There were all sorts of other rarities, too.
